Through the recent years I, assumingly most of you as well, have been consistently let down with the trash that has splattered upon the screens of movie theaters. Has every writer in Hollywood run out of ideas? Is there any chance of being excited to see an upcoming movie again? Every time I decide to splurge on going to the movies I always have to remind myself now to keep my expectations low before walking in. I have made the mistake too many times now of thinking a movie will be as well written as it was advertised. But I am ecstatic for once for an upcoming movie I never would have imagined would come to life! Bohemian Rhapsody, the savior of all film! Finally a new fresh idea that no one knew they even wanted but goddamn if everybody isn’t nervously awaiting this movie. I love Queen and who doesn’t? If all that played in the theater was a loop of Wayne and Garth headbanging I would be satisfied. The cast alone makes me want it more! Making movies about musicians can be a hit or miss but when you’re talking about Freddie fucking Mercury? It has got to be good. On the other hand, if this movie is a flop I will have lost all hope in Hollywood forever! I hope everybody is as excited as I am and goes to see it in theaters Nov. 2nd and I’ll leave a review of the movie and my thoughts on it as quickly as possible.
